Join us for an evening of fine cuisine constructed by Belfast Cookery School’s very own, Ben Arnold .
Ben shot onto our screens as a participant and Northern Ireland heat winner in the BBC’s “Great British Menu” in 2015.
Before Ben found himself beamed into households in the U.K. and beyond, he trained at college in London and later learned his trade working at two Michelin starred Le Gavroche, at La Trompette, and also for Theo Randall. He later spent time working in the kitchens at the House of Commons.
This session is designed and inspired by Ben’s wide experience of food and driven by the dishes and innovative cooking styles he feels most passionate about.
Ben’s will prepare and talk through a sublime 3 course meal in front of our guests who will then sample each course made for their enjoyment. No cooking necessary!
To begin enjoy pan fried turbot, potato mousseline, leek fondue, foie gras served with a carrot & hazelnut emulsion
Continue with a heavenly main course of roast loin of lamb, glazed rib & crispy shoulder accompanied by artichokes, puy lentil caramelised squash jus
Finish this heavenly meal with an indulgence chocolate millefeuille, malt & prunes.
