Joanne McCoubrey (from NI) is one of a team of 10 novice bikers who are employees of Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharma and will participate in a Country 2 Country 4 Cancer Challenge, which is an epic annual cycling event, the last segment (of 6)  which sets off from Tours, France in September.  The team will cycle over three days, and approximately 400km. Their aim is to raise money towards the fight against rare and less common cancers in support of Cancer 52.

In partnership with the Belfast Cookery School, Bristol-Myers Squibb are running a very special class, the proceeds of which will go to help reach the teams aim. Supporters will learn how to make classic French dishes to reflect the areas the team will pass through during the challenge.

To start you will learn how to develop a rustic seafood chowder made from freshly caught, catch of the day from our local waters and supplied by our sister restaurant Mourne Seafood Bar.

Next prepare and enjoy an authentic duck a la orange, served with freshly prepared seasonal vegetables and potato gratin

To finish your wonderful evening, construct and indulge in a fresh, light crepe suzette with chantilly.

This session is 3 hours in duration.  You will be greeted with a tea and coffee reception on your arrival to The School.  Each attendee will receive a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink during the session.  Guests can purchase additional drinks from our fully licensed bar within The School throughout the session
