From Farm To Plate
- This event has passed.
We have devised this great informative session based on the feedback of our friends and guests. This new and unique session will focus on educating our guests in the story of each ingredient and how it has made its way to our School-right from the farm to your very plate!
Understand more about the great local produce available you, sourced locally. Learn how to work with their unique flavours, colours and textures to make amazing dishes time and again for family and friends.
Begin your evening with instruction from Chef on how to prepare an amazing seasonal beetroot and heritage carrot salad, all locally sourced from organic farmers. Accompany this fresh and vibrant dish with a super healthy and sublime summer herb green godess dressing, finished with your very own ricotta cheese .
Continue with a modern twist on a classic “Coq au vin”. You shall be expertly shown how to bone a free range whole chicken, and cook with summer mushrooms, smoked Irish bacon and a modern white wine sabayon accompanied with a warm fingerling potato salad.
Finish your experience with a delightful, light organic buttermilk panna cotta served with local fresh strawberries.
This session is 3 hours in duration. You will be greeted with a tea and coffee reception on your arrival to The School. Each attendee will receive a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink during the session. Guests can purchase additional drinks from our fully licensed bar within The School throughout the session
