Belfast Cookery School
1.Booking & Payment
All classes must be booked in advance through our website or by phone. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Bookings are non-refundable but may be transferred to another date with a minimum of 72 hours notice.
Gift vouchers can be redeemed against any available class and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations with more than 7 days’ notice may be rescheduled subject to availability.
No-shows on the day of the class will forfeit the booking.
In the unlikely event that a class is cancelled by Belfast Cookery School, we will offer a full refund or alternative class date.
3. Alcohol Policy
Guests must be 18 or over to consume alcohol on the premises. ID may be required.
Alcohol is available for purchase at the bar during applicable classes and events.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone appearing intoxicated or behaving inappropriately.
Guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol onto the premises.
4. Health & Safety
All participants must follow staff instructions and adhere to basic kitchen safety rules. All participants will be required to sign a health and safety disclaimer on arrival.
Please notify us in advance of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking. While we take care to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Belfast Cookery School is not responsible for any injuries sustained due to non-compliance with safety guidelines.
5. Liability
Belfast Cookery School accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings while on the premises.
Participants take part in cookery classes and events at their own risk.
6. Behaviour
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant who is disruptive, under the influence of excessive alcohol, or acting inappropriately, without refund.
Respectful and courteous behaviour is expected at all times towards staff and fellow participants.
7. Photography & Marketing
We may take photos or videos during classes for promotional purposes. Please inform a member of staff if you do not wish to be included.
Private Events & Corporate Bookings
8. Booking Terms
A deposit is required to secure a private or corporate booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Minimum spend or guest number requirements may apply depending on the date, time, and nature of the event.
9. Cancellations
Cancellations more than 21 days prior to the event will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations between 7–21 days before the event will result in a 50% forfeiture of the total event cost.
Cancellations with less than 7 days’ notice will be charged in full.
10. Final Numbers & Dietary Requirements
Final guest numbers and dietary requirements must be confirmed at least 7 days before the event. We will prepare and charge based on these confirmed numbers.
Reductions in guest numbers after this point are non-refundable.
11. Customisation
Private and corporate events can be tailored to suit your needs. Any custom menu items or special requests may incur additional charges, which will be confirmed in advance.
12. Conduct & Liability
The organising party is responsible for ensuring guests behave appropriately throughout the event.
Damage to the venue or equipment caused by guests may be charged to the organising party.
